Design Process

You clearly have an idea in mind of what you want your database application to deliver.

We work closely with you and your team to help you to articulate that requirement as a technical specification.

We use a system called “Mitchells CodeFactory” which considerably reduces the speed and therefore cost of development of SQL Server/Browser applications.

By putting as much intelligence and user interface guidance into the back-end SQL server database, our CodeFactory system spins-out the basic application user interface much more swiftly that the usual hand-coded lists and forms developed by web design engineers. This speeds development and cuts the cost to our clients. CodeFactory has been described by developers as “Microsoft Scaffolding on Steroids!”.

Back-end technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Access are considered as well as front end technologies such as browser-based, Microsoft Access, or a custom desktop program that you launch from the start menu.

Once agreed, we issue a fixed price quotation for the development, with time-scales. Once agreed, we get going with the initial prototype.
